Emotional regulation is the ability to notice, understand and manage feelings. For many people it's a skill that can be learned and strengthened with the right support.
Simple starting points
Predictable routines, naming feelings, calm-down spaces and sensory tools can all help. What works is personal — the aim is to build a small toolkit that fits the individual and the people around them.
We introduce these approaches gently and practise them together, so they become genuinely useful in everyday life.
